Scheduled water supply disruption in CT northern areas

The Department of Water and Sanitation in Cape Town will complete running pressure management operations in and around the northern areas on Thursday which will result in the disruption of the water supply.

The affected areas will be Table View, Flamingo Vlei, parklands, Blouberstrand, Westriding, Sunridge, Durbanville, Morningstar, proteaville, Sonstraal and surrounding areas between 19:00 to 00:00.

The City of Cape Town apologised for any inconvenience this might cause and urged that all taps been kept closed during this period to insure no water loss or damage is suffered once the water supply is restored.

To avoid further inconvenience, the City suggested water be stored in clean, sealed containers to be used during this period.
