In a world where technology evolves at breakneck speed, the imperative “AI or Die” is becoming increasingly relevant. On February 6, 2025, the Namibia Institute of Public Administration and Management (NIPAM) Campus in Olympia, Namibia, became a hub for this message as it hosted the AI Marketing Workshop led by Alexander Morad. A two-time TikTok Award winner and founder of Bright Mind Agency, Morad is on a mission to empower individuals with the tools and mindset needed to thrive in the age of artificial intelligence. Namibia, known as the Land of the Brave, was an essential stop on his journey.
The workshop attracted entrepreneurs, marketing professionals, and young people eager to harness AI for sustainable success. Morad’s approach combined personal storytelling, business acumen, and technical expertise, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. He clarified that while AI won’t solve everything, it will evolve everything. He warned that those who fail to integrate AI into their personal and professional lives risk falling behind.
Morad broke down the evolution of technology, explaining how society has progressed from the era of information streaming, led by search engines, to the age of social media, where individuals took centre stage. He described the next shift as streaming intelligence, where AI provides real-time solutions, and predicted that the future will bring the era of streaming initiative, where AI anticipates human needs and acts proactively. He urged attendees to embrace AI as a tool for creativity and efficiency rather than fearing its impact on job security. AI won’t replace people, he explained, but those who know how to use AI will replace those who don’t.
A key takeaway from the session was Morad’s B.R.I.G.H.T. prompt framework, designed to optimize AI interactions by structuring commands effectively. By defining roles, goals, and methodologies, users can generate high-quality AI-driven results. The idea of structured AI interactions resonated strongly with Denzel, a third-year informatics student at Namibia University of Science and Technology, who left the workshop feeling inspired. He realized that AI could be instructed to think like a business consultant, marketer, or professor, adapting its responses accordingly. He stressed that African businesses must embrace AI now to remain competitive, as the global landscape is evolving rapidly.
Morad also shared a deeply personal experience—a near-fatal car accident in Italy that changed his outlook on life. He recalled how the tragic event in which his friend Luka lost his life reinforced his determination to leave a meaningful impact. This perspective fuels his passion for spreading AI literacy, particularly in regions often overlooked in global tech discussions.
The AI Marketing Workshop in Namibia was more than just an educational event; it was part of a larger movement to shift mindsets and prepare individuals for a rapidly advancing digital future. As the sun set over the NIPAM Campus, Morad’s words lingered, leaving attendees with a powerful message. The future is not something distant—it is being shaped now by those willing to learn, adapt, and innovate.
