Award-winning South African artist Brenda Mtambo is set to take audiences on a deeply moving musical journey with her upcoming live production, “Amahubo Ka Gogo – The Live Experience.”
Taking place at two of South Africa’s premier theatres, the show will debut on 18 July at the Johannesburg Emperors Palace (Theatre of Marcellus), followed by a second performance on 15 August at the Playhouse Company Opera Theatre in Durban.
“Amahubo Ka Gogo” is a heartfelt celebration of heritage, faith, and the enduring legacy of grandmothers. Through soul-stirring hymns, intimate storytelling, and powerful musical arrangements, Mtambo invites audiences into a sacred space of remembrance, healing, and connection.
