Eskom is positive South Africans will enjoy a load-shedding-free week as the energy supply has improved from last week.
The nation underwent several days of Stage 4 power cuts last week due to a shortage in generating units at some power stations. The national power utility argued that the load-shedding was essential to balance out the supply and demand of the country. And it seems the plan worked.
The plant was pleased to announce that there had been no load-shedding on Sunday and expected more of the same to continue throughout the week. Andrew Etzinger of Eskom said the public would be notified of any changes.
