As Ed Sheeran’s concert weekend draws nearer, Big Concerts and the FNB Stadium have assured fans that the security issues of the Global Citizen Festival in December would not be repeated.
Security has been beefed up to prevent the crimes committed against attendees of last year’s festival after the show.
Management said there would be road closures, an increased amount of security guards outside the venue, more police visibility before and after the show, and adequate signage and lighting.
Big Concerts came to an agreement with Uber and Telkom to help ensure safe transportation and connectivity on the night.
