Flashback: the emotional journey of refugees, asylum seekers

In light of World Refugee Day and this year’s theme of #StepWithRefugees, we spoke to the Head of Advocacy at Scalabrini Centre of Cape Town regarding refugees long walk to peace and safety.

With the help of external legal partners, the Scalabrini Advocacy Programme has had many success stories. The most recent victory will benefits the lives of asylum seekers and refugee families all across South Africa. The court ruled in favor of a process known as ‘family-joining’.
