Happy birthday, Gmail!

It seems that much like wine, Gmail is getting better with age. As Google’s web-based email client turns 15, new features that will help make sending emails more efficient were revealed.

Smart Compose
This function attempts to automatically complete your sentences as well recognise and adapt to your greeting style. While this feature is not yet available for iOS, it is for Android.

Four new languages
The Smart Compose tool will boast four new languages too, namely Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese.

Subject suggestion
Based on the contents of your email, a subject will be suggested.

Scheduling delivery of mail
This function allows you to schedule when you would like the email to be sent to the recipient, just in case you happen to be out of the office by the time the other person should be reading it.
